Andy and Matt travelled to Crewe recently to deliver to around one hundred and fifty professionals for the Malbank school annual staff conference. The title of the two hour interactive keynote was ‘The Power Of Talk.’
With fun interactive tasks to get everyone involved so it wasn’t death by powerpoint! We had some powerful feedback from the headteacher who stated ‘that this presentation today has made me reflect heavily on my practice and I will be making certain changes to my practice moving forward.’ We were blown away by the honesty by the professionals in the room as we asked questions, set challenges, had fun demonstrated the view point about education from a child who has experienced trauma, read powerful pieces written by young people out, and weaved in and out our lived and professional experiences !
Thank you for having us the feedback has given us more determination to keep our keynotes and training fresh and different moving forward.
